4. Products and Product Information
World of Motos sells motorcycle parts, accessories, racing products, performance parts, maintenance products, and related items.
We make every reasonable effort to display product information, prices, images, compatibility information, specifications, and availability correctly. However, mistakes may occur.
Product images are for illustration purposes only. The actual product may differ slightly due to manufacturer updates, colour differences, packaging changes, supplier changes, or model variations.
The customer is responsible for checking whether a product is suitable for their motorcycle, model, year, technical setup, intended use, race class, and legal requirements before ordering, installing, or using the product.
If you are unsure whether a product is suitable, please contact World of Motos before placing the order.
5. Racing Products and Road Legality
Some products sold by World of Motos are intended for racing, motorsport, competition, off-road, closed-course, or track use only.
Racing products may not be legal for public road use. They may affect vehicle approval, insurance, roadworthiness, warranty, emissions compliance, noise limits, inspection requirements, or race regulations.
The customer is responsible for checking whether a product is legal and suitable for their country, vehicle, road use, race class, championship, or intended application.
World of Motos is not responsible for fines, failed inspections, disqualification, loss of warranty, insurance issues, or other consequences caused by incorrect, illegal, or unsuitable use of racing products.
6. Offers and Prices
All prices are shown in euros, unless stated otherwise.
Prices include VAT where applicable, unless clearly stated otherwise.
Shipping costs, import duties, customs costs, local taxes, or other additional costs may apply depending on the delivery destination and selected shipping method.
We reserve the right to correct obvious errors, typing mistakes, incorrect prices, incorrect stock information, or incorrect product details.
If an obvious mistake is discovered after an order is placed, World of Motos may contact the customer to correct the order or cancel the order and refund any payment already made.
7. Orders and Agreement
An order is placed when the customer completes the checkout process and confirms the order.
After receiving the order, World of Motos will send an order confirmation by email.
The agreement is concluded when World of Motos accepts the order. We may refuse or cancel an order if:
- the product is unavailable;
- the product information or price was incorrect;
- payment is not received;
- there is suspicion of fraud or misuse;
- the customer provided incorrect or incomplete information;
- delivery to the requested address is not possible;
- the order cannot reasonably be fulfilled.
If we cancel an order after payment has been made, we will refund the amount paid.
8. Payment
Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods offered during checkout.
Orders are only processed after payment has been received or confirmed, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
World of Motos does not store full payment card details. Payments are processed securely by external payment providers.
9. Delivery
World of Motos delivers to the countries and regions shown during checkout.
Delivery times shown on the website are estimates only, unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.
For online consumer purchases in the Netherlands/EU, products must be delivered within the agreed delivery period or, if no specific period was agreed, within the legal delivery period. Dutch guidance states that online sellers must deliver within 30 days or within the agreed period; if delivery is late, the consumer may be allowed to cancel and receive reimbursement.
World of Motos is not responsible for delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping companies, customs, incorrect customer information, force majeure, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If a product is temporarily unavailable or delayed, we will inform the customer where reasonably possible.
10. Shipping and Delivery Costs
Shipping costs are shown during checkout before the order is confirmed.
Shipping costs depend on the shipping method, destination, product size, product weight, carrier rates, and any applicable handling costs.
The customer is responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address.
Additional costs caused by incorrect address details, refused delivery, failed delivery attempts, customs issues, or uncollected parcels may be charged to the customer where legally permitted.
11. Risk and Ownership
For consumer purchases, the risk of loss or damage passes to the consumer when the product has been delivered to the consumer or to a person designated by the consumer.
For business customers, the risk passes when the product is handed over to the carrier, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Ownership of the product remains with World of Motos until the full purchase price and any applicable costs have been paid.
12. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
Consumers have the legal right to withdraw from most online purchases within 14 days after receiving the product, without giving a reason.
If an order is delivered in multiple shipments, the 14-day period starts after the consumer receives the final product from that order.
To use the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform World of Motos within the 14-day period.
After notifying us of the withdrawal, the consumer must return the product without unnecessary delay and within the legally required return period.
The product must be returned unused, complete, undamaged, and, where reasonably possible, in the original packaging.
The consumer may inspect the product as they would reasonably be allowed to do in a physical shop. If the product has been used more than necessary to inspect it, World of Motos may deduct the loss in value from the refund.
13. Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal
The legal right of withdrawal does not apply in all situations.
The right of withdrawal may be excluded for, among other things:
- custom-made products;
- personalized products;
- products made according to the customer’s specifications;
- special-order products that are clearly produced or ordered specifically for the customer;
- sealed products that cannot be returned for hygiene or health reasons once the seal has been broken;
- digital content where the customer has expressly agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged loss of the right of withdrawal, where applicable;
- products that are legally excluded from withdrawal.
Dutch consumer guidance recognises that custom-made products can be excluded from the cooling-off period.
For World of Motos, this may include special motorcycle parts, custom racing parts, personalised products, made-to-order items, special supplier orders, or products configured specifically for the customer.
14. Return Conditions
Before returning a product, the customer must contact World of Motos and request return instructions.
Do not send products directly back to the manufacturer, supplier, or distributor.
All returns must be sent to the return address provided by World of Motos.
Returned products must be:
- unused;
- undamaged;
- complete;
- clean;
- unmounted;
- not installed;
- not tested on a vehicle;
- in original condition;
- including original packaging, labels, accessories, manuals, protective materials, and parts.
Products that are used, mounted, installed, damaged, scratched, contaminated, incomplete, modified, or returned without proper packaging may be refused or may receive a reduced refund.
15. Return Shipping Costs
The customer is responsible for arranging and paying the return shipping costs, unless World of Motos has agreed otherwise in writing or the return is caused by an error from World of Motos.
Return shipping costs depend on the carrier chosen by the customer.
We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service. World of Motos is not responsible for return shipments that are lost, damaged, delayed, or not delivered.
16. Refunds
After receiving the returned product, the World of Motos team will inspect the product.
If the return is approved, the refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original order, unless agreed otherwise.
If a consumer returns the complete order within the legal withdrawal period, World of Motos will refund the product price and the standard original delivery cost.
If the customer selected a more expensive delivery method than the standard delivery option, only the standard delivery cost will be refunded.
If only part of the order is returned, the original delivery costs will not be refunded, unless legally required otherwise.
World of Motos may wait with the refund until the returned product has been received or until the customer has provided proof that the product has been returned.
17. Racing Product Returns
Racing products, motorsport parts, performance parts, and track-use products are specialist items.
A racing product may only be returned under the normal consumer withdrawal rules if it is unused, unmounted, undamaged, complete, and not excluded from withdrawal.
Racing products cannot be returned once they have been installed, fitted, tested, used, modified, contaminated, damaged, or prepared for racing or vehicle use.
This does not affect the consumer’s legal rights if a product has a proven manufacturing defect or does not conform to the agreement.
18. Incorrect, Damaged, or Defective Products
If the customer receives an incorrect, damaged, or defective product, the customer must contact World of Motos as soon as possible.
The customer should provide:
- order number;
- description of the issue;
- photos or videos of the product;
- photos of the packaging if the shipment arrived damaged;
- any other information needed to assess the issue.
Do not install, mount, test, or use a product if you believe it is incorrect, damaged, or defective.
Using or installing a product after discovering a possible issue may affect the assessment of the claim.
19. Warranty and Legal Guarantee
Consumers are legally entitled to receive a product that conforms to the agreement and meets reasonable expectations. Dutch guidance describes this as the statutory guarantee, also known as conformity. If a product is defective, consumers may be entitled to repair, replacement, or, if the issue is not solved properly, a refund.
Manufacturer warranty may apply in addition to statutory rights, but manufacturer warranty does not replace mandatory consumer rights.
Warranty or defect claims will be assessed based on the product, the issue, the circumstances, the manufacturer’s instructions, and applicable law.
Warranty does not normally cover damage caused by:
- incorrect installation;
- incorrect use;
- racing use where the product is not suitable for that use;
- crash damage;
- modification;
- poor maintenance;
- normal wear and tear;
- heat damage;
- fluid contamination;
- chemical damage;
- incorrect torque settings;
- use contrary to manufacturer instructions;
- use on an unsuitable motorcycle or setup.
20. Installation and Use
Motorcycle parts must be installed correctly and safely.
World of Motos strongly recommends that all motorcycle parts, especially braking parts, suspension parts, engine parts, wheels, racing parts, and safety-related components, are installed by a qualified mechanic or specialist workshop.
The customer is responsible for correct installation, safe use, maintenance, inspection, and compliance with manufacturer instructions.
World of Motos is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss caused by incorrect installation, incorrect use, misuse, modification, unsuitable application, or use contrary to instructions.
21. Technical Advice
Any advice given by World of Motos by email, phone, WhatsApp, chat, social media, or website content is general guidance only.
Technical advice does not replace professional mechanical inspection, workshop diagnosis, manufacturer instructions, legal checks, race regulation checks, or road approval checks.
The customer remains responsible for checking suitability, compatibility, legality, installation, and use.
22. Accounts
Customers may create an account on the website.
The customer is responsible for keeping account login details secure.
World of Motos may suspend or close an account if there is misuse, fraud, unlawful activity, or breach of these Terms and Conditions.
23. Privacy
World of Motos processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains which personal data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights customers have under privacy law.
24. Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, images, logos, product data, layout, design, and branding, belongs to World of Motos or the respective rights holders.
It is not allowed to copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use website content for commercial purposes without written permission.
Brand names, logos, and trademarks shown on the website belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify products, brands, and compatibility.
25. Force Majeure
World of Motos is not liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- supplier delays;
- manufacturer delays;
- transport delays;
- customs delays;
- strikes;
- war;
- natural disasters;
- pandemics;
- power outages;
- internet failures;
- technical failures;
- government measures;
- import or export restrictions;
- force majeure affecting suppliers or carriers.
If force majeure continues for an unreasonable period, World of Motos and the customer may have the right to cancel the agreement where legally permitted.
26. Liability
World of Motos is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, vehicle downtime, racing results, disqualification, fines, penalties, or damage caused by incorrect installation, incorrect use, modification, racing use, or unsuitable application.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where this is not permitted under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects mandatory consumer rights under Dutch or European law.
27. Business Customers
For business customers, the legal consumer cooling-off period does not apply.
Business customers are responsible for checking product suitability, legality, compatibility, technical requirements, installation requirements, resale requirements, and professional use before ordering.
Returns from business customers are only accepted if World of Motos agrees in writing.
For business customers, World of Motos may limit liability to the invoice value of the relevant order, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
28. Complaints
If the customer has a complaint, they should contact World of Motos first.
Please include:
- name;
- order number;
- description of the complaint;
- photos or documents where relevant.
World of Motos will try to respond within a reasonable time.
If the customer is a consumer and the complaint cannot be resolved, the consumer may have the right to use applicable dispute resolution options under Dutch or EU consumer law.
29. Changes to These Terms and Conditions
World of Motos may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
The version that applies to an order is the version available at the time the order was placed, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
The latest version will always be available on our website.
30. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and Conditions and all agreements with World of Motos are governed by Dutch law, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law gives the consumer the right to choose another competent court.
